Why are we like we are? How did we get that way? Why do we do the things we do? Do we need friends? How do we stay mentally healthy? How can we feel less stressed?!
This course introduces you to the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. We will cover issues such as development across the lifespan, gender/ sexuality, memory, social relationships, mental illnesses & their treatments, and the brain. The course will be an introduction to the field, so we will focus on selected subfields, and you will get an overview of many areas in psychology.
