My course is oriented around the driving question: How can we know what's true?

NOTE: ENGL 1A+1AS is a six-unit course which combines ENGL 1A (a transfer-level English class) with a two-unit “co-requisite” support course (these are non-transferable units). You must be enrolled in both courses to be a part of this class. However, I will not be teaching this as two separate courses – instead, you should think of this as a single, 6-unit class. You will be exposed to the material and expectations of an ENGL 1A class immediately but be given additional support through tutoring and lots of low-stakes practice and feedback. • The Fall 2022 CityOnline semester begins on Monday, August 29.

• If the class is full, try to get on the waitlist. If the waitlist is full, keep checking the schedule to see if/when other students drop the class. There is often movement before the first day of class. After the first day, you may send me a Class Add Authorization from myRAM, and I will authorize you to add if a spot becomes available.
