Course Objective: This course prepares students for the GED Mathematical Reasoning test, TASC or HiSET Math test, and/or credit math courses. Topics include quantitative reasoning with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and related word problems; data measurement and analysis; an introduction to algebraic reasoning; and geometric measurement. Upon completing this course, a student will be able to:

1. Use quantitative reasoning to solve math word problems.

2. Apply data measurement and analysis skills.

3. Solve problems using algebraic reasoning.

4. Apply measurement skills to geometric figures.

• No Show drop date: Wednesday, June 18th

We will have synchronous class time on Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
