Welcome to the second course of Algebra 1. This course fulfills high school mathematics requirements for the City College of San Francisco's or San Francisco Unified School District's High School Diploma. In this class, we will learn properties of equations and inequalities, linear equations, quadratic equations and an introduction to graphing. After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Solve equations by using the properties of equality.
Solve inequalities by using the properties of inequality.
Identify a linear equation and solve for a given variable.
Identify a quadratic equation and provide a solution set.
Plot and draw the graph for a line given by any linear equation.
First day of instruction: Thursday, June 12th

We will have synchronous class time on Zoom every weekday between Monday and Friday.
Morning sessions (CRN: 63774) meet for Synchronous Class Time between 9 am and 11 am.
Afternoon sessions (CRN: 63775) meet for Synchronous Class Time between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
