Childcare Resources

The Family Resource Center has two different services for students who are also parents:

• The Parent Exchange Program (PEP) at City College allows parents to leave their children while they attend class; however, parents must also volunteer at the program for two hours per week.
• Additionally, the Family Resource Center has Drop-In Services where parents can bring their children while they utilize the FRC computer lab, get resources, take a break, or attend a meeting in the Student Union Building; however, parents must remain in the building at all times.
• The Family Resource Center also has a webpage with links to other resources.

The Family Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM and is located in Room 201 of the Student Union. Please use the map below for help navigating to the Student Union.

Additionally, the Child Development & Family Studies Department (CDEV) has childcare options for young children at the Ocean and Mission campuses. More information can be found at this webpage or by contacting Akiyo Mineo at amineo@ccsf.edu
