I recently completed my Master of Arts in Biology and I am currently a New York City Teaching Fellows Cohort 40 member pursuing a Master of Arts in STEAM Education. My background in Biology has taught me that every living organism has a story and every question has an opportunity for discovery. As a Biology Educator I want to create an environment in my classroom where my students will develop curiosity, develop their critical thinking skills and build self-confidence. I want my students not to view science as a subject but as a tool they can use to learn to be aware of their own lives, the world and the endless possibilities around them.
