Players: 2 to 4
Object of the game: To be the first player to arrive to square 40. Win points to arrive first to the end with your aim using your catapult, being able to answer correctly to questions about catapults, and having luck with the ladder cards.
Set up:
The wall:
You build the wall with six of the white giving cups, like a triangle as you can see in the picture. You have to put the catapult at least 50 cm from the wall. In order to measure you use the meter that is available. You will put a mark with tape where you will position the catapult ( available).
The catapult:
Level 1: You will use one of the available catapults
Level 2: You build your own catapult with the giving materials in the zip bag that said "building a catapult"
Balls for the catapult:
You have two different kind of walls you can use. Before you start playing you can do 4 trials to decide which ball you want to play with during the game
Warrior:
Every player has to choose one avatar warrior, and put it on the starting point in the square 1.
How to play:
The player on the left, looking in the direction of the walls will start the game.
The player has to fire the catapult and try to inflict the maximum destruction on the wall. Every time a player puts down one cup they gain two points. Each point is one square that you move your warrior on the board.
There is two trials to launch the catapult every time the player has a turn. If you successfully knock down at least one cup on your first trial that is all you have.
Before starting to play, the players can do 4 trials launching the catapults.
If your warrior falls in a square with a catapult destroying a castle, you have to pick up one card of chance (the blue cards). And follow the instructions on the card.
If your warrior falls in a square with a catapult , your companion player on your left has to pick up one card with a question about catapults (the green cards) and read it to you. If you answers correctly, you advance two squares, if you answer incorrectly, you move back one square. If you answer wrong, the person on your right will have the opportunity to answer the same question. The same rules applied to this person.
How to count points summary:
-Each cup down two points (=move two squares)
-Each blue card will give you indication of the point you gain or lose
-Each question you answer correctly is two points(= you move two squares)
-Each question you answer wrong you lose one point(= you move one square back)
Winning:
