This course expanded my understanding of how students learn STEM concepts through multimodal literacy. we've emphasized the use of visuals, models, movement, discussion, digitalk tools and hands-on experiences rather than relying solely on text based instructions. I'd say the biggest take away from this course would be "teachers are also students."

The Bryant park assignment was my favorite assignment and will be adapted for the use of my students. Taking what we've learned about the five modes of learning and applying them to our envionment is what I'd consider a peak assignment. We've developed lesson plans, and analyzed curriculum. In doing so, I've planned to carry these ideas and strategies into my classroom while striving to identify new strategies that may work for students. Maybe It'll be one that can be discussed in future Multimodal Literacy courses.
