As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Danielle assists youth and adults struggling with chronic mental health illnesses and recovery from past trauma. Ashley works with her clients, one on one or in small groups, to guide them in making lifestyle changes that produce sustainable results. She takes a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to help participants develop a deeper understanding of how their lifestyle choices can impact many facets of their life including, energy levels, physical/mental well-being, relationships and overall sense of life satisfaction. Ashley has a knack for developing personal skills in the areas of organization, planning, task initiation and problem solving.
In 2022, Erin completed a post-graduate certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing and became a board-certified PMHNP, certified to treat both adult and pediatric populations. This specialized training included invaluable hands-on experience with a wide range of patients, including those with severe and complex mental health issues, and solidified her commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental wellness journeys. Erin has had the privilege of working at an academic health center, where she collaborated with some of the leading experts in psychiatry and provided care to individuals with severe mental health concerns. While she enjoys working with a broad spectrum of patients, Erin has a particular interest in supporting those with developmental disabilities and neurodivergent individuals.

With over 15 years of experience working as a registered nurse in a wide variety of settings, Lauren is well versed in providing care for clients with chronic complex needs and providing education and support to those with new diagnoses.
Lauren earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2010. Previous to that degree, she attended the University of Minnesota for four years and studied psychology with an emphasis on pharmacology. Since becoming a nurse, she has worked in several specialties: cardiology, oncology, clinical research, care coordination, chronic disease management and interventional psychiatry. In all of these roles, she has excelled as a patient advocate and educator, making sure that all the people she meets have the resources and information they need to move forward confidently to meet their health goals.
Her approach to nursing is to meet people with curiosity around how they view their health conditions and to become a partner in care in a way that best serves her clients. She is passionate about delivering culturally competent, trauma-informed, and whole person health care. She loves working with people of all ages - children, adolescents and adults.

Krisha DeWitt is an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) with several years of experience supporting individuals through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. Anthony earned his Bachelor of Science in Leadership from Trident University while on active duty as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. After serving as a Recruiter in the Madison area, Anthony transitioned into the Army Reserves. His extensive experience as a recruiter includes leading, training, developing and mentoring individuals throughout the community.
Anthony's experience working with people from all types of backgrounds and cultures has given him insight into the many underserved populations and the need for more accessibility of supportive roles and resources. He is passionate in his role of assisting and empowering others to recognize their full potential through mentoring and support. He enjoys using outdoor experiences and connection to nature as a path towards healing and personal growth. On a personal level, he is a family man with a wife and four children. He enjoys fishing, playing video games, learning about world history, and, as a new home-owner, he is learning to love DIY home improvements. Anthony is concurrently serving as an intern while completing his MSW program.
DeShala holds a Master of Social Work Licensure and has dedicated the past 12 years to supporting elementary students in grades K-5 within a school setting. She obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Madison. Her professional passion lies in aiding individuals in understanding and processing trauma, enhancing resilience, and developing self-care strategies.
DeShala is committed to creating welcoming environments that foster safety, support, and validation, ensuring that each individual feels recognized and valued. She is particularly devoted to assisting women and children who have experienced childhood trauma, employing active listening and facilitating support groups to guide them towards healing. Those who meet with DeShala find a comforting presence, a deep understanding, and a pathway to recovery in a community that resonates with their experiences.
Indigo obtained her MA in Critical Psychology and Human Services from Prescott College, nestled in the High Desert between the mountain ranges of Central Arizona. In the preceding years, she studied Outdoor Education along the shore of Lake Superior at Northland College. Both schools integrate experiential education, which later inspired career choices that brought her ever deeper into nature. She has worked for Wilderness Therapy organizations in Oregon and Wisconsin, leading immersive backpacking trips for at-risk teens and young adults through the Deschutes and Chequamegon National Forests.
She is an enthusiastic proponent of adventure-based psychoeducation, which enables people of all ages to develop an integrated, healthy self-concept by building skills such as self-sufficiency, interpersonal awareness, intrinsic motivation, integrity, and direct communication. She takes a relational approach while supporting clients in acheiving the fundamental human needs of connection, safety, and individuation. With practice and guidance, she offers practical skills that may enable clients to self-regulate their nervous systems and make more conscious and thoughtful life decisions. Additionally, Indigo recently earned her Substance Abuse Counselor Certification through UW Madison.
Jerry earned his Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2023 with a focus on trauma-informed care. His experience in the Marine Corps gave him experience in mentoring, training, leading and fostering growth in others and himself. Jerry uses a strengths-based, insight-oriented, and person-centered approach in order to assist and guide those he works with towards growth and healing.
Jerry has worked with various populations in different positions such as in a group home setting, individual mentoring, family support work, and advocacy for the past 9 years. He has also been providing individual and family therapy and services for 2 years. Jerry utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) methods in his work, but continues to seek further learning and education on many other therapeutic models and modalities. Kirsten earned both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, focusing primarily in direct practice surrounding Autism Spectrum Disorders and Mental Health in youth/adolescents. Kirsten has background working in Child/Adolescent and Family services, and is familiar with the world of CCS programming, having worked as a Service Facilitator in Waukesha County and found her passion for direct therapy practices through this role.
Kirsten uses a combination of strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches, finding the most effective way to connect with her clients through hands-on activities such as art projects, strategy games, mindfulness/sensory activities, and meeting in environments that the client is most comfortable in. Jesse is an advanced practice social worker, earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Jesse continued his education pursuit to receive his master’s degree at Aurora University. Both degrees in his undergraduate and master’s program were in social work, emphasizing in health care social work in his master’s program. Jesse has an extensive history of case management experience with My Choice Wisconsin and Jefferson County, Comprehensive Community Services program. Jesse is now a full-time Court Monitor for Waukesha County, where he oversees individuals placed on Chapter 51 commitment orders.

Jenni earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2023. She has dedicated the last 8 years to serving families in the child welfare system where she supported parents in achieving their goals, provided case management, connected families to resources, and facilitated trainings to caregivers who wanted to learn trauma informed parenting tools.
Jenni knows that being a caregiver can come with challenges and feelings you never anticipated, and it can also bring joy you never knew existed. Some of these groups have included: Community Safety, Kitchen 101, Anyone Can Draw!, Money Management, Leisure and Crafts, Euchre, Cognitive Training, Creative Expressions, etc. As a mental health Occupational Therapist, Kim recognizes that engagement in every day, meaningful activities is crucial for overall health and well-being, as well as for recovery.
For the last 3 years, Kim has worked as a Horticultural Therapist, utilizing gardening, plant care, and related activities as a therapeutic tool to address various needs, including improving motor skills, reducing stress, enhancing social interaction, and promoting emotional well-being.
Kim also owns and runs a Flower Farm and has a passion for teaching others the beauty of nurturing a seedling into a fully formed plant. She regularly offers group sessions in floral care and design, emphasizing the healing properties of natural, pollinator-friendly flowers and vegetables.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys coaching volleyball, volunteering with nonprofits, shopping at thrift stores, hiking, remodeling her home, and spending time with her family, friends, and 7 fur-babies!
After completing an Associate degree in Human Services, Kirstin returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned both a BS in Rehabilitation Psychology and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling. Kirstin has over 15 years of experience working in both clinical and community settings with individuals, families, and groups experiencing mental healthcare, and/or substance use issues. She is passionate about supporting people from a person-centered, strengths-based, holistic framework. She believes that rapport building is essential for trusting relationships to form. Kirstin continues to practice cultural humility and works from a culturally sensitive perspective, which allows her to collaborate with various individuals and groups.
She has helped individuals with recovery objectives such as decluttering, community living skills, psychoeducation, and teaching self-advocacy and communication skills. Kari completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Services Management in 2009 and earned a Master’s in Psychology from Walden University in 2014. In 2023, Kari returned to graduate studies, pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Trauma-Informed Systemic Therapy at Northcentral University, with graduation anticipated in November 2025.
Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C) and Motivational Interviewing, and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Kari is also recognized as a CCS Master Level provider. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Kari spent 10 years managing the mental health unit at a managed care organization, followed by two years as a Service Facilitator II at Jefferson County CCS.
Currently a therapist-in-training, Kari has a strong foundation in trauma-informed systemic therapy, crisis response, and family systems work. Khadejah is a recently hired Service Facilitator, dedicated to using a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to support individuals and families in receiving the care and services they need. With nearly a decade of experience in customer service (including roles in restaurants, healthcare as a CNA, and financial service call centers) she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to helping others and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and efficiency.
Her professional journey, combined with personal life experiences, has shaped her into a strong advocate for others. Khadejah believes that every person, regardless of age, deserves to be heard and provided with the proper support. Her experience encompassing social, emotional, and behavioral health, as well as academic success, has allowed her the opportunity to successfully collaborate with participants to create measurable goals.
