A Night to Remember: 8th Grade Dinner Dance Shines at Valley Brook!
By: Joscelyn Diaz
On April 10, the 8th grade class traded their backpacks for party clothes and headed to ValleyBrook Country Club for an unforgettable evening—the annual 8th Grade Dinner Dance!
The event brought together students, teachers, and chaperones to celebrate this special event in style. From the moment guests arrived at the Promenade, held at the school, it was clear this was going to be a night to remember.
Before the dancing kicked off, students enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner with everything from sliders to chicken fingers (and of course, a sundae that was a huge hit). Tables were decorated with colorful centerpieces, and a photo booth where students posed for pictures with friends and teachers.
“It felt like a mini prom,” said Xavier Wright. “Everyone looked so nice🥳🩷.”
A huge thank you to everyone who helped plan the event, the Booster Club, and of course, DJ Mr. Loper for making the night so special.
Here’s to the Class of 2025—on to high school, but never forgetting where we started.
