This year we are making it easier than ever to meet with you members of Congress. In addition to our usual training sessions on how to do a congressional meeting, participants will be able to choose to have our advocacy firm, Foresight Law+Policy (FLP), set up your meetings for you.
Here are some key details on booking meetings:
Your meetings will be scheduled during the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST.
Alex's team will schedule up to 4 meetings for your group during this window of time.
Please treat these meetings as if you were in person.
Unfortunately, as you know, meetings with members of Congress don't always match up exactly with our start and stop times, and therefore we are unable to guarantee exactly when those meetings will fall – they might be 4 back to back meaning it’ll be done in two hours. However, it might spread over the four hours, it just depends on the availability of the offices we are booking with.
If multiple people from the same state/region ask for us to schedule meetings for them, we will likely group those people together into teams and schedule meetings for each team. We will reach out in advance and let you know who, if anyone, you will be teamed up with for meetings.
Alex will reach out and provide your meetings itinerary approximately 48 hours in advance of the conference.
