Who We Are
Who We Are
The Orthodox Christian Fellowship of Madison (OCF) is the officially recognized Eastern Orthodox student organization on the UW-Madison campus. We serve as the primary link between the spiritual life of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Mission and the daily lives of students.
We are a pan-Orthodox group, welcoming students from every canonical jurisdiction (Greek, Russian, Serbian, Antiochian, Ukrainian, etc.). Our mission is to support one another in worship, study, fellowship, and service.

Our Spiritual Guide: Fr. Gregory Jensen
The spiritual advisor for the OCF is the Very Reverend Dr. Gregory Jensen, the pastor of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church. OCF students are active members of the parish and serve as evangelists to UW-Madison. Fr. Gregory is available for counseling, questions, and guidance for all students, regardless of faith background.

What We Do
Weekly Chapter Meeting: Informal discussions on faith, current events, and challenging student issues through an Orthodox lens. Always includes a shared meal!Wednesday or Thursday Evening (Ss. Cyril & Methodius)
Sunday Divine Liturgy: Attending the main weekly service together at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Mission. Students often carpool or walk together.
Bible/Patristic Study: Focused reading and discussion of Scripture, the Church Fathers, or theological texts to deepen understanding of the Faith.
Service Projects: Engaging in local charitable work, providing opportunities to live out the Gospel message through action.
