All Juniors will be automatically enrolled and required to take the PSAT/NMSQT here at MHS on Thursday October 16th.
You are required to test on your School Chromebook. Please make sure that your school Chromebook is working and fully charged for testing. If you are having technical difficulties, please see Ms. Thomas in the Media Center on Tuesdays or Fridays.
All sophomores are invited to sit for the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 15th. Those interested must register by making your testing payment of $21 by Monday, October 6th, through the Arbiter Portal and by selecting the “PSAT, Grade 10: 2025-2026” link. Payments serve as registration and an exam will only be ordered for payments made.
What To Bring To PSAT Testing:
Please arrive at school for 7:30 a.m. to check your testing room, posted in the Lobby.
Please make sure to bring your Fully charged SCHOOL Chromebook and charger.
Please also bring a pencil and calculator (graphing or scientific recommended, charged or with new batteries).
If needed, please bring water and a snack.
The PSAT has two sections, Reading/Writing (64 minutes standard time) and Math (70 minutes standard time).

To Prepare Now:
Check to make sure you have the Bluebook App installed on your School Issued Chromebook and Click on it to Open (no need to sign in) just double click it.
Makes sure your School Issued Chromebook is functioning well and is fully charged.
Make sure your Chromebook is charged for the SAT testing day and that you also bring your CHARGER.
Arrive to school at 7:30 a.m. to check your testing location and get to your testing room.
NO Digital devices (phones, watches, earbuds, etc.) will be permitted at your testing seat.
You may NOT test on your own personal device.
Take some practice tests online for free.
Bring your calculator ready to go.

Prior to testing a weekend SAT, please be sure to have the testing Bluebook App Installed.
Before you take the SAT Weekend, you'll need to know what device you'll be testing with as well as any device requirements or technical specifications prior to downloading the Bluebook™ testing application. (For in-school testing such as SAT School Day, your school will handle this for you.)
You can run Bluebook on a Windows laptop or tablet, a Mac laptop, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook.
You can't run it on a mobile phone.

If you're going to test with your own personal device, you can download the Bluebook application now and start practicing.
Your device must be able to connect to Wi-Fi.
On test day, your device must be fully charged; it will need to stay on for 3–4 hours.
Bring your device’s power cord or a portable charger.
