Our ELL population was steady for 8 years.
During the 2015-2016 school year the district hired one ESL/Spanish teacher in each elementary building and one ESL teacher to the MS and HS. The goal was to provide better services to a growing population.
The newly hired teachers worked on a Program evaluation committee.
This model worked really well the first year (2015-2016) as the population grew we had some challenges to overcome.
