Behavior & Class Dojo

Here is how Class Dojo works in our classroom:

- The positive and negative points recorded are based on common classroom behaviors.

- Only positive points are visible to the class.

- If a student receives more than 5 positive feedback points in one day, they color in a blue light on their Daily Flash, choose from the treasure box, and receive a Super Cyclone award, which means they may be recognized over the morning announcements. :)

- If a student receives 1 or 2 negative feedback points in one day, they color in a yellow light on their Daily Flash. These are just warnings. If it is something more serious, or a recurring issue, I will write a note on their Daily Flash, send an e-mail, or make a phone call. *Negative points are not displayed publicly on Class Dojo.

- If a student receives 3 negative feedback points in one day, they color in a red light on their Daily Flash. A student must have more green than yellow/red lights at the end of the week in order to attend Friday Celebration.

- Every day is a fresh start. Class Dojo points reset every day.
