PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a schoolwide framework that teaches and reinforces clear behavior expectations to create a positive, predictable, and safe learning environment. It focuses on recognizing and rewarding positive behaviors while providing consistent supports and interventions when challenges arise.

It focuses on recognizing and rewarding positive behaviors while providing consistent supports and interventions when challenges arise.
Students are recognized for being safe, trustworthy, accountable, and respectful throughout the school year. Students earn red tickets for meeting individual STAR expectations. Red tickets may earn individual prizes or classroom incentives. Classrooms may earn golden tickets for meeting STAR expectations. The classroom with the most golden tickets receives the STAR trophy! We also celebrate students at our assembly every quarter for exemplary STAR behavior. Please see the pictures below of STAR expectations in different areas on campus.
Students are encouraged to use self-regulation strategies, such as the Meta-Moment, when they are dysregulated.
