The UW Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics Laboratory focuses its research on fluid dynamics analysis of physiological and pathological flows using a combination of medical imaging, additive manufacturing, and computational fluid dynamics. The results of the lab are used to develop improved diagnostic and surgical planning techniques through a collaboration with physicians.

One of the key beliefs at Madison Country Day School (MCDS) is that all students possess an extraordinary capacity to learn. It is out of this belief that the Advanced Science Research (ASR) program has emerged. The objective of the program is to place highly-motivated, self-disciplined, and inquisitive MCDS students with science researchers for the summer before their senior year at partnering institutions.
