Rhett Billings - Vice President
Mr. Billings serves as a Market Development Representative in sales with WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone. His love for music and performing go back to his junior and senior high school days when he was a never-miss member of the advanced choirs. He enjoys public speaking and won 4th place in the Oregon State High School speech tournament (Radio Speaking Division). With that, he frequently serves as Chorale emcee, scripting and introducing the choir’s concert pieces. His lifelong love of Elvis Presley music found an outlet in many venues, winning him several tri-city talent contests, leading roles in high school musicals, and even part-time professional entertainment. Working his way through college as a nursing home Activities Assistant, Rhett played his guitar and sang to the residents daily, an experience that changed the way he sees music. “It’s a healing agent,” he says. After graduating from Urbana University (Ohio) in ’92 with a BA degree in Social Service, Rhett moved back to Oregon to practice social work. Three years later, he returned to the Midwest spending the next 14 years in the trades, (HVAC & plumbing), before transitioning into sales at WOW!, where he has worked for over ten years. Rhett is starting his third year with the Chorale and looks forward to many more!Rhett Billings - Vice President
