Madera Unified is taking a proactive stance against hate speech and prioritizing the education and awareness of its students regarding the impact of words.
Madera Unified demonstrates its commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students by offering resources and support to educators. Culture & Climate has provided presentations as well as in-person support to help address hate speech. Collaboration between schools and district resources can contribute significantly to promoting a culture of respect, tolerance, and acceptance within the school community.
