Mission: The Department of School Culture & Climate’s mission is to support and help improve school site climate to meet our students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs through positive connections and interactions with peers and adults 

Vision: The Department of School Culture & Climate’s vision is to ensure well-being, belonging, and safety for all through shared norms and valuing the diversity of our school community. 

School Climate refers to the school's effects on students, including teaching practices, diversity, and the relationships among administrators, teachers, parents, students, and the community.

School Culture refers to the way teachers and other staff members work together and the set of beliefs, values, and assumptions they share.
