On July 4th I had the opportunity to present MiD to an audience of business professionals at a DBS Bank event at the National Gallery. I spoke about the 'arrival' of AI as part of my portfolio.
June 2025:
On 18-19 June I attended the 2-day Super AI conference at Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre here in Singapore. I will write an article on my impressions and what I learned.
May 2025:
I have been asked to be the responsible lecturer in E commerce - specifically Data Analysis and Digital Marketing - at Dania Business Academy from Q1 2026. An exciting opportunity which I am now prepaing for.
April 2025:
Getting ready for the final presentation on Critical Skills for members of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
The first three presentations were on Leadership, Critical Thinking and Innovation. On 22 April: Complex Problem Solving.
March 2025:
I was invited by Chinese University Hong Kong to participate in a panel discussion about innovation in Singapore and South East Asia.

I am just back from a one week workshop in Tallinn. Here I had the pleasure of doing a leadership training program for my client's middle managers in the Baltic region. I believe that I made a positive impression, and that my audience learned a lot.

To persuade others you need a combination of Ethos, Pathos and Logos.
You need to establish your credibility to discuss any subject. You need rational arguments. And you need to be inspiring and emotional to bring your message across.

Visiting TechWeek, Marina Bay Sands Expo. A huge technology event for business in Asia. You definitely get the impression that the world stands on the brink of a tech revolution - however, the event seemed to be more focused on the tech side itself, rather than the business opportunities or disruptive impact on human kind.

I have received an Offer Letter from Golden Gate University in San Francisco to join their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) progrm starting this December. The DBA is a three-year program focusing on Emerging Technologies and Generative AI.

Just completed 2-day program at National University of Singapore: Generative AI for business leaders.
Great program and now more AI sayvy. But still so much more to learn.

I have bought the Microsoft AI agent Copilot for my Business 365 account. Quite an investment, but hopefully Copilot can boost my productivity - just as Microsoft promises.

Just a few words here at the end of the year. And what a year: MiD delivered significant growth vs. 2022. Total revenue by Dec 2023 shows a 20% growth vs last year.

Just completed the Google Project Management certificate program - 250 hours invested from Aug 2022 - Jan 2023.

I have now done 5 out of the 6 modules in Google Project Management course. I plan to finish the final module this month. By then I will have invested more than 200 hours in becoming a qualified Project Manager.

Saw this poster in the lobby in my hotel in Copenhagen. Reminds me of what it often means to run your own business. But also important to note that I experience more joy than tears.

My client Innoflow specialises in recruitment based on candidates' competences in a job simulation. I have completed Innoflow's rigorous certificate program, and I am now certified to write company case stories for candidate recruitment.

Formulate evaluates, predicts and plans retail promotions - optimising every phase of the campaign process. I have the pleasure of assisting Formulate to enter Asia.
