This page includes a curated set of resources instructors can share with students during the first week of classes to ensure a smooth start with Achieve. Whether students are enrolling for the first time or need help navigating the platform, these guides and videos will walk them through:
Accessing Achieve through your LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)
Creating or logging into an Achieve account
Enrolling in the correct course section
Navigating key course features like assignments, due dates, and grades
Understanding trial access and purchasing options
All materials are student-friendly and ideal for sharing in your syllabus, LMS announcements, or during your first class session. Helping students get started early minimizes tech issues and ensures they’re ready to engage with your course content from day one.
Step 1: Log In to Canvas
Head to your Canvas account and click into your English course.
Step 2: Register for Achieve
Click one of the following to start your Achieve registration:
“Achieve”
“Student Registration – Start Here”
Or click on any Achieve assignment
Step 3: Allow Pop-Ups
Make sure your browser allows pop-ups—Achieve needs them to open properly.
Step 4: Use Your School Email
When prompted, log in using your school email address (this helps keep your account linked correctly).
Step 5: You're In!
Your assignment will open in a new tab or window, and you’ll be automatically enrolled in your instructor’s Achieve course.
From now on, any work you complete in Achieve will sync directly to your Canvas gradebook. 🎉
No worries—tech issues happen! Here’s how to get back on track:
Before reaching out for help, see if one of these solves the issue:
✅ Use Chrome or Firefox (they work best with Achieve)
✅ Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser
✅ Clear your cache and cookies (this helps more than you think!)
✅ Use a computer or laptop (not a phone or tablet)
