All students will stay in the MacEwan University residence to get the true Canadian university student experience.
MacEwan Residence is very secure. Students need a card to enter the building and use their card again to get to their floor on the elevator. MacEwan staff is always at the front desk.

Check in for your room is after 3:00 p.m. on October 1–2, 2022
Check out for your room is before 11:00 a.m. on November 26–27, 2022
Credit Card Authorization - You must supply a credit card number for Residence to keep on hold in case of property damage (vandalism, cooking accidents, etc) during your stay. Be prepared to give this number when you check-in.
Bed linen and one set of towels per person will be provided. Housekeeping will be provided on the 4th day of your stay. Please place toilet paper in the toilet and not in the garbage bin.
If your room key is lost or not returned - you are liable to pay a minimum charge of $300.00 for the key replacement.
If you lose your laundry card or do not return this - you are liable to pay a minimum charge of $25.00 for each laundry card that is misplaced. Laundry is an extra expense. Washing Machines are $2.25 a load and Dryers are $2.00 per load. You can pay using the Coinamatic app.
Alcohol is not to be consumed in residence or at any establishments. Alcohol is not permitted in the hallways, lounges, lobby or other common areas.
Consumption of alcohol or drugs while on the tour is prohibited.
MacEwan University Residence is a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted by participants. In the event a guest smokes in a room, a $250.00 reconditioning fee will be applied to the master account.
To respect other guests and students who stay in Residence, quiet time hours are between 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. daily

How will I get to residence from the airport?
By shuttle service. Shuttle Service will be arranged to pick you up at the airport when you arrive. You will receive emails about pick -up times closer to your arrival date. The shuttle service will also pick you up and drop you off at the airport when you leave. The cost is included in your program fee.
**Please note: If you arrive between 01:00 a.m. and 06:00 a.m., there is no shuttle service, and you will need to wait in the airport until the Sky Shuttle opens at 06:00 a.m.**
**If you depart on November 26–27, you will need to make your own taxi arrangements to the airport as the program finishes Friday November 25 **
