is a team of dedicated student volunteers passionate about health & wellness promotion and striving to build a healthier campus for all. Through peer-to-peer education, advocacy, and collaboration with campus and community members, the Peer Health Educators encourage their peers to make healthy life choices supporting their academic and personal goals.
The Peer Health Education Team (PHET) facilitates health promotion activities like table displays, wellness stations, collaboration projects, and posts on social media to support our campus' wellness! We engage with our peers to provide helpful wellness information from a student perspective!
What is Health?
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as "A state of complete physical, social and mental well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."
What is Well-being?
The WHO defines well-being as "a positive state experienced by individuals and societies. Similar to health, it is a resource for daily life and is determined by social, economic and environmental conditions."
