Meet Mrs. Sunderland!
About Me!
Hello! My name is Meghan Sunderland and this is my 13th year of teaching!
I am from Mankato, Minnesota and lived there my whole life until I moved up to the MACCRAY area! I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Middle School Communication Arts and Literature emphasis from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2011.
I began teaching in 2011 at Cedar Mountain High School in Morgan, MN teaching 6-8th grade ELA for 3 years. Then I taught 6th grade in Mankato for a year and moved out of Mankato to this area. I taught at Renville County West for 4 years where I taught 6th grade Math, Social Studies, and Reading, as well as 7th grade and 8th grade ELA.
I've had quite a journey in my teaching years, but I feel MACCRAY will be my perfect fit! I am excited for my FIFT year here!
My Boys
These are my two boys: Maverick and Braxton.
Braxton is a SECOND grader at MACCRAY and will be 8 in April! He loves to read, work with his dad, and be "big brother". Maverick is a PRESCHOOLER and will be 4 at the end of September. He loves farming, our cat Lars, and swimming!
My Husband!
This is my husband Brady!
We have been married for over 9 years. He owns Sunderland Construction (building houses and furniture) and farms. He is also an alumni of MACCRAY!
