About Us...

The Lyons-Brookfield School District 103 Band and Orchestra Program services students from grades 4^th – 8^th grade in the communities of Lyons, Stickney, Forest View, McCook, and Brookfield. The program consists of ten performing ensembles: four at the elementary level, six at the middle school level.

The mission of the Lyons-Brookfield School District Band and Orchestra program is to provide a positive artistic experience for the students of the district. We believe that music is an essential component to a student’s overall education and that it is critical to developing a child’s overall sense of creativity, responsibility, and sense of self.
