"Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness."
Corrie Ten Boom
A live performance of Uxolo ("Forgive us") by the Drakensberg Boys Choir of South Africa. This song, subtitled "A Requiem for a Rhino" is a plea for forgiveness, from humankind to Mother Earth, for all the pain and suffering we have caused her.
The song was composed to highlight the plight of the Rhino, which is facing complete extinction in the wake of increasing poaching and illegal killing of these animals to seize and sell their horns.
