UPDATES COMING FALL 2025
This is a reminder that if you have not already submitted your tuition remission form for the 2025-26 academic year which includes Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026, to please do so as soon as possible. Please refer to the important information below regarding submission deadlines as they have changed.
Fall 2025 Final Deadline: September 10, 2025
Spring 2026 Final Deadline: January 30, 2026
Summer 2026 Final Deadline: June 5, 2026
Submissions that occur after the deadlines above are considered rare exceptions and will only be considered and approved by the Vice President overseeing the individual claiming the benefit. Please note that in these circumstances, the individual will experience delays. If the individual falls into this category, the absolute final deadlines are detailed below:
Fall 2025 - December 1, 2025
Spring 2026 - May 1, 2026
Summer 2026 - July 1, 2026
If you are a part-time/full-time undergraduate student (which includes Second Degree and Access students) seeking tuition remission, you are required to submit a FAFSA and Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant application (if you are a Virginia resident).
For full-time graduate students who are Virginia residents who are in any of the following programs (DMSc, MSAT, CMHC, DPT, MHA, MPH, MPA, and Executive Leadership), are also required to submit a Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant application.
All tuition remission requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be declined until all requirements have been met.
