Follow the League of Women Voters Upper Mississippi River Region Inter League Organization
This consists of local leagues including ours in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin that are located within the Upper Mississippi River Region - a USGS defined region of the US. All the leagues have at least part of their membership living in this large watershed. Their blog with upcoming events and background is here. LWV Red Wing is a member of this organization.

Education Topics
The leadership team has put a focus on voter outreach. This includes voter education with the special election candidate forum, joining the Honoring Dakota events to learn & understand the history of the Prairie Island Indian Community, developing a specific project on reaching underserved voter pockets in our community.
