🚨 Current Calls to Action
Tell your State Senator: Oppose HB 960, the Bait-and-Switch Elections Bill
HB 960 was originally a bipartisan effort concerning Gwinnett County judges. Tt was fully replaced—not merely amended—by a substitute that shifted its focus to a sweeping overhaul of Georgia’s voting process. On the Georgia legislature site, the bill still has the name "Gwinnett Judicial Circuit; superior courts; provide twelfth judge", but it now has nothing to do with judges, and everything to do with election operations . You can see the text here.
HB 960 now proposes extensive changes to Georgia’s voting system on an unrealistic timeline, with no dedicated funding and significant risks to voter access, election security, and public confidence.
Reach out to your state Senators to make your voice heard. If true elections reform is needed, it should be done in a transparent manner. Not swapping out an entirely different bill at the last minute. It needs to be completed with plans to protect voter privacy and security. It needs to have a design of realistic operations, most importantly, ti provide funding for local elections offices to make changes.

Fight Against the SAVE Act - Now in the US Senate
The SAVE act, which saves nothing and loses the right to vote for many citizens, passed in the US House of Representatives. We are disappointed, but not surprised, and we have a plan.
Reach out to your Senators to demand they oppose this bill, which is nothing but a new form of poll tax. It requires voters to obtain US passports or original birth certificates as "sufficient proof" of US citizenship. These documents cost time and money that not all voters have. Current state laws require common and accessible documents such as Driver's Licenses and state IDs that already provide equal protection against fraud.

Unite and Rise 8.5
The League of Women Voters declared a state of Constitutional Crisis on May 1, 2025, based on actions of the federal Executive branch showing complete "disregard for congressional authority and government checks and balances".
To back up controls by the Legislative and Judicial branches, We the People will step up.
A powerful new program is starting: Unite and Rise 8.5. We will engage and mobilize 8.5 million voters to protect our democracy and using advocacy, mobilization, civic education, and engagement.
8.5 million out of a total 245 million US voters represents 3.5%, the threshold needed for a people's movement to bring about change, according to a study by the Harvard Kennedy Center's Carr-Ryan Center for Human Rights.
