Birthday Celebrations

It is fun to celebrate birthdays! In class, we will sing Happy Birthday and your child is free to bring a non-food item. The district policy is to direct families toward healthy snacks or non-food items.

Here are some non-food ideas:

1. Stickers, pencils, pens, scented pencils or markers, colorful erasers

2. Goody bags with small games or toys

3. Book Donation to class library

4. Board Game Donation to class

5. Bookmarks, stencils, or rulers

6. Frisbees, jump ropes, beach balls etc. Many vendors exist for trinkets. They can be something they use in the classroom, during recess, or take home to be physically active.

7. Paper notepads, small journals to encourage writing, literacy

8. Activity/game sheets, Puzzle books, i.e. Sudoku
