Dear Parents,
Welcome to Buttercup Preschool at Yerba Buena Elementary School and Room E103! I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year and look forward to a wonderful year full of learning and growth. Our goal is to build a strong relationship between home and school that will support your child’s growth and development. In addition to working on specific goals for each child we will also be working on learning colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, good manners, social skills, pre-reading skills, sorting, classification, personal hygiene, counting, and communication skills as well as many other general preschool skills. We will be using themes and projects throughout the year to enhance learning. Circle time and centers will focus on specific areas of development such as fine motor, communication, pre-literacy, math, science, gross motor, music, and social skills.
Your child will be learning many things this year in the centers that we have in our classroom.
