Assessment / Grades

Academic Grade:

• Daily performance and class activities - 60% (warm ups/fitness/in-class activity)

• Achievement and assessment - 40% (tests/homework/fitness assessments)

GRADES WILL BE POSTED AND UPDATED EVERY FRIDAY BY 4:00 PM THE LATEST

10 Point Daily Scale:

• 1 Point for being on time for attendance

• 2 Points for good behavior

• 2 Points for full participation in warm up activity

• 5 Points for full participation in class game

--> You will receive 0 Points if not in proper PE clothes and will not be able to participate

--> Participation is solely based on your effort during activities NOT based on athletic ability

Other Assessments:

• 20 Points for end-of-unit Quizzes

• 10 Points for completed medical forms (equivalent to one class period) - Dr. note needed

• 5 Points for each FitnessGram Test (must be able to show improvement or stay in Healthy Fitness Zone)

• 5 Points for any other assignments

Makeup forms can be completed at any time throughout the quarter/semester - every 30 min = full credit for one class (done outside of school). Makeup forms are located in the next tab.
