Hello everyone, I am Nick Jaskolka. I grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. Manchester is about 40 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts. It's less than an hour from the ocean, mountains, lakes and rivers. Unlike sunny California, is has four seasons and a wide range of weather (temperatures ranging from below zero to above 100 degrees!). It's a great place to call home and definitely an underrated state!
This is my sixth year at A.E. Wright. I have been teaching PE for 19 years. My life has always revolved around sports. Throughout high school I played organized baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, golf. I also ran track and cross country. I played baseball in college at Plymouth State University. I've coached high school baseball for the past 19 years. I am currently the Pitching Coach at Agoura High School.
I knew at a very young age I would become a teacher. I was raised by a cop and a teacher and was always interested in working with kids at all levels. While I am skilled in teaching many core games, I also have a background in fitness and weight training activities. I very much look forward to teaching introducing new game and activities while preaching a life long love for working out and exercising.
Since I grew up in New England I am a HUGE Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins fan. Tom Brady and David Ortiz are legends! I also have a lot of love for the University of Michigan Football and University of North Carolina Basketball teams.
