Learn How To Play Guitar

In this year-long course, students learn to: play popular songs, strum chords and play fingerstyle, read music, play by ear, play from chord symbols, play melodies and accompaniments (chords), improvise, and study the repertoire of classical music for guitar.

A nylon-string acoustic guitar is provided for use at school.

This course is a college prep class and is UC approved for Fine Arts credit.
