I am so happy to be your 5th grade teacher this year! I absolutely love teaching 5th grade because there are so many fun things we get to do, like Outdoor Ed, class dress up picture, morning announcements and 5th grade parties! I look forward to a great year with you:)

A couple things about me....

I am married to my awesome husband Brendan and together we have a son named Hudson and a daughter named Finley.

I have been teaching for 13 years and this will be my 10th year teaching 5th grade at Willow Elementary. Before I started teaching in California, I taught 3rd and 5th graders English in Costa Rica. I loved teaching in Costa Rica so much and learning to speak Spanish. After I moved back to the U.S., I taught Kindergarten, 1st and 6th grades at Ingenium Charter School in Canoga Park. I am so happy to be at Willow because the people here are amazing and the students are such hard workers. Go Wildcats! 

I am originally from Westlake Village but currently live in Newbury Park. Some things I like to do outside of school are to be outside going hiking, hanging at the beach, snowboarding, attending sports events-Go Dodgers!, and being with my family. I also love to travel and experience new things, especially trying new exotic food:) I have been to over 10 countries throughout Central America, Europe, and Asia, one day I hope I can make it to Australia and South America.

This will be a great year, I cannot wait to get to know all about each and every one of you!
