Always Called to Serve
Regardless of where we are at, in the various stages of life, God wants to commune with us more and more intimately and to give us life and purpose through serving Him. He promises to be our God, to be with us always and that includes the here and now and to make us fit for the future with the Holy Spirit as our personal trainer. He does all this through the working of the Holy Spirit in Baptism, Word and Sacrament, personal devotion and study and through the support of Christian friends and family. This event offers the choice of two schedules. (1) A one-day event: devotional activity, 3 vignettes, 3 Bible studies, a servant event, litany, personal time for reflection and prayer. (2) One evening and one day. The day schedules are the same, the evening includes a prayer walk with stations following the petitions of the Lord’s Prayer. A leader and organizer’s guide provides all the material required for projects and activities. It comes with a power point presentation but can be led with or without. 2017

BLESSINGS ABOUND-Count Your Blessings
An opportunity to gather together and give some real thought to the blessings that abound around us, the blessings that come from our Heavenly Father. Poster is provided, suggestions are given for devotions plus instructions for an activity for sharing your blessings. 3 pages. 2023

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL “COME, LORD JESUS”
The focus is on the true gift of Christmas, the return of our Lord Jesus and the birth of the Christ child. A poster is provided, suggestions for devotions are given, plus a supply list and instructions for a crafted Christmas ornament. An additional, but optional instructions are given to make place settings for the table. 3 pages. 2023

Getting to Know God, A Bible Scavenger Hunt
Here’s a fun way to get to know God better and other Christian women by building a relationship with both respectively. A list of questions and statements are provided and with the help of your Bible for the answers you all make this happen. “Don’t let summer slip away from God or from fellowship of your sisters in Christ.” This event encourages calling, texting or emailing your friends for a get together at a beach or other restful spot for fellowship with God and each other. Pot Blessing, A
A “Getting to Know You “event for women. Whether you call it a “Pot Blessing” or a “Pot Luck” it is always a special time to share fellowship, goodies and the company of your sisters in Christ. To make planning easier an itinerary is provided to pre- plan the event as well as suggestions for the event itself. The goal is to get to know each other better and have fun doing it. Suitable for Mother’s Day, Valentines or strengthening the bonds of Friendship. 2 pages. 2023

How about planning a one-day Ladies VBS: S’MORES SISTERS IN CHRIST. A poster is provided, suggestion is given for an ice breaker and a Bible Study. Share a meal together, plan a walk, encourage prayer inspired as you walk. Enjoy the afternoon with a craft or servant event, instructions provided for both, close with the suggested devotion.
