Team Games

WHAT IS TEAM GAMES?

Students will participate in a variety of student and/or teacher-led “games” and activities meant to develop team collaboration, communication skills, planning strategies, and sportsmanship. Students will reflect on the characteristics of effective sports leaders and will lead skills based physical activities for students on campus.

WHAT DO STUDENTS NEED FOR CLASS?

• Good sportsmanship

•  Personal water bottle

• Chromebook (charged)

• Comfortable clothing that conforms to school dress code policies (Fridays)

• SHOES:   Students will need to wear shoes that provide support and fit comfortably on the foot.  

• Students who wear the following types of shoes will lose participation points.         

 - clunky shoes, hiking/ UGGs/ cowboys boots, slip-ons, dress shoes, sandals, loose shoes.

HOW ARE STUDENTS GRADED?

Grades will be determined by points earned from the following:

1)  Daily Participation  

2) Class Assignment/Reflections  

3) Group/Individual Projects

Grading Scale

The number of points at the end of the grading period will determine a letter grade, which will be calculated as percentages.
