• 🏆Sports Day! - November 26th -  Middle School / High School.....Winners will represent LU at the Dynamic Track and Field School Championships!

• Halloween...…Friday, Oct. 31st.... Costume & Pumpkin Carving Contests & Dress Down Day! 

• Parent - Teacher Conferences....Friday, October 24th 

• Field Trip October 23......We are going to D's Beach Bar in Beacon Hill for a fun filled day of beach games and lunch.  Please return permission slips (along with swimming / water waiver) and $26 ASAP! 

• Quarter 1 Ends on October 17.... Which means Community Service Hours are due!  Please be sure that you have 3 hours. 

• Pep Rally …Friday, October 17th from 1:40 - 3:10 in the LU Gym! 

• Mid-Term Break.... No School October 6 - 13.  Classes resume on Tuesday October 14th. 

• Senior Snooze Day.... Friday, October 3rd!  Pay $2 and come dressed in your PJs (please read email for specifics).

• LU Book Swap: Collections will be Sept. 8 - 12.  For every 10 books brought in, students can receive 1 Hour of Community Service!  Book Sale will be Sept. 22 - 25 :-) 

• Community Service Opportunity!  Donate School Supplies to the less fortunate through Interact.  3 Items = 1 Hour of Community Service.....Deadline has been extended to Monday, Sept. 8th. 

• The Office is selling Book Covers for $4.

Week of August 18 - 22: 

• Wednesday, August 20th is Lazaro's & Aram's birthdays!  They plans to bring in Pizza and Cupcakes for the class.  

• Class Elections for Grade 6 President and Secretary will be held on Friday, August 22nd. 

• Picture Day for Grade 6 Students will be Tuesday, August 19th.  Please be sure to be dressed in your proper LU uniform.

Wednesday, August 13: 

Welcome Back to School!  Please report to Homeroom in Room E by 8:15 on Wednesday, August 13.  We will have an extended homeroom that will cover the first class period to be sure that we're ready for the start of our new school year. During this time students will receive their text books, schedules and be able to set up their lockers.
