October Events

• 🚌 Field Trip: Thurs. Oct. 22......Grade 6 is going to AUC for a tour of their facilities & interactive experiences.  Cost is $6 (bus) and lunch is included.  Please return permission slip and $6 as soon as possible. Students should wear their LU Polo shirt, jeans (or shorts) and close toed shoes.  Pack a small snack, water bottle, notebook and pencil.  

• 📄 Quarter 1 Ends: Fri. Oct. 16....All community Service Hours are due by Oct. 16th

• 🍁 Midterm / Fall Break: Oct. 5 - Oct. 12.....Classes Resume on Tuesday, October 13th.  

• 👚 Dollar Dress Down Day: Fri. Oct. 2...... $1 Donation goes to a local charity, organized by Student Government

• 📸 Picture Day for Grade 6 Students will be held on Thursday, August 20th.  Please be sure to be dressed in your proper LU uniform. 

• 🗳 Class Elections for Grade 6 President & Secretary will be held on Wednesday, August 26th

Wednesday, August 19: 

Welcome Back to School!  Please report to Homeroom in Room E by 8:15 on Wednesday, August 19.  We will have an extended homeroom that will cover the first class period to be sure that we're ready for the start of our new school year. During this time students will receive their text books, schedules and be able to set up their lockers.  

Forms to be filled out and returned to school by Friday, August 28:

• 🎗️Be sure all Text Books are covered by Friday, August 28th.  Covers are available in the Office for $4 or $5.
