A little bit About Me

My name is Kara Slattery and I teach first grade at Lunenburg Primary School. This is my 9th year teaching here and my 12th year teaching first grade. I currently live in Winchendon with my husband, Matt, our sons, Jamison (4) and Johnny (2) and our dog, Luna. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State University in Elementary Education (1-6). Shortly after, I received my Master's Degree from American College of Education in Elementary Education with a Literacy track. I taught first grade in Framingham for 3 years and then made the move to Lunenburg Primary School in 2017 to be closer to home. I love this community and am happy to be a part of it!
