Hear Ye Hear Ye! It fills me with great honor to announce the newest edition of the Lunenburg High School Varsity Cheer Team, Duke the Knight! Duke is the official mascot of the LHS Varsity team. His debut began September 27th, 2025! He was effortlessly welcomed by attendees of the game. Duke is known for his passion, energetic attitude, sassy mannerisms, and affectionate energy with all. The LHS Cheer Team landed 2nd and 5th place in their most recent competitions, earning praise from the judges for Duke's involvement! Please welcome Duke into the Lunenburg community! Additionally, the LHS varsity cheer team finished the fall cheer season beautifully, making it to the States competition and won 6th Place out of thirteen other teams. Their devotion and commitment to the team deserves it to be recognized! Now, the winter cheer season has begun. These girls are ready to own it! The varsity cheer team has been divided into two passionate sections, traditional & game-day cheer!
