Mrs. Head has 19 years of experience in education. She is a native of Lumpkin County and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia. She is also certified in Special Education and English Language Arts. She is married with two children. Mrs. Head enjoys spending time with her family and attending church activities.
Ms. Kenney was born in Tennessee and has lived in many different states and places around the world. She has taught in Kiribati (a tiny Pacific island), in Dekalb County, and here in Dahlonega at Blackburn and now LCMS. She has a total of 20 years of experience and has taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, ESOL, and now 6th! She has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Memphis. She has three kids - twins, who just graduated, a 4th grader, and a cat. When not teaching, she enjoys running, doing yoga, hiking, exercising, art, and reading!
Mrs. Phillips....
Mrs. Sudduth has been teaching for six years. She got her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University in 2015. She is also certified in middle grades English Language Arts and Social Studies. After teaching in special education and elementary for two years in Cumming, she transferred to Lumpkin County Middle School. This is her fourth year teaching sixth-grade English/Language Arts at LCMS. She is the Co-Department Chair for ELA and also teaches the sixth grade ACE connections class. Mrs. Sudduth is an avid reader and loves spending time outdoors with her husband and black lab, Belle. She is expecting her first child in September 2021!
