Every other week you can check here for the "ASK ME" sheet! This is a wonderful way to get a sneak peek as to what we are up to in Music class. Some weeks they will sing you a song, other times you may learn a dance from them. Please ask and have fun!
You will find them below to look back on throughout the year!
Let's practice singing our own song! Have your student make up thier own song by singing what they snowman will wear.
As part of our Nutcracker unit, we got to see parts of The Nutcracker ballet by the New York City ballet. It is FREE to view its entirety on Youtube. Enjoy if you wish or skip to some of their favorite parts!
Have your student speak and clap along to the rhythm of Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"! In class we tried it with triangles and clapping. What could you use at home?

Many students this week have earned an "I sang a solo today" sheet for singing "Pitter Patter" alone as a solo. This is not a "have to" activity, but a wonderful opportunity for your student to try performing alone, in front of their peers and myself! If you see a sheet coming home, please ask them about it!
We will be doing these throughout the year so there will always be a next time!
Have your student go first, and then you echo them. Should be on an "ooo" vowel sound.

We have a constant "Wish List" on Amazon that would help us with our curriculum needs. As the lessons are always evolving, I find myself needing replacement instruments and new literature to share with the students. Here is the link and QR code to check out if you are interested!
