The MHS Colorguard is an integral part of the Marching Band and gives color and pageantry to the "Swingin' Beat from 50th Street!" These students are selected by audition in the Spring prior to the Fall marching season. Selected students enroll in the Colorguard Techniques class for the Fall semester and rehearse outside the school day at the same time as the Marching Band, with a few additional rehearsals. These students pride themselves on being at the cutting edge of modern marching choreography, holding themselves to high expectations of performance at every show.
