The Study Island Project is an independent review and/or learn project which allows students to practice the Math 6 NJSLS for mastery as well as prepare for the current PARCC Grade 6 assessment.


Student must complete the Study Island - NJ Programs - 6th Grade - NJ Standards Mastery - Math (Student Learning Standards) on www.studyisland.com


The project is worth a possible 60 points. Students earn 2 points for each blue ribbon achieved according to class difficulty level. The student's project grade will be determined by points earned/60. There are 35 sections- students must complete 30 out of the 35 sections to receive full credit. Students are strongly advised to complete the lessons before attempting the question sets for each category.


Each student needs to earn a total of 30 blue ribbons. A blue ribbon for this project is earned on a score of 80% or better for each question set.

12 blue ribbons by December 7th.

14 blue ribbons by December 14th.

16 blue ribbons by January 4th.

18 blue ribbons by January 11th.

20 blue ribbons by January 18th.

21 blue ribbons by January 25th.

22 blue ribbons by February 1st.

23 blue ribbons by February 8th.

24 blue ribbons by February 15th.

25 blue ribbons by February 22nd.

26 blue ribbons by March 1st.

27 blue ribbons by March 8th.

28 blue ribbons by March 15th.
