Hello Parents and students!
I know this may not be the ideal way to begin our school year, but it is still going to be educational, fun, and developmentally appropriate for our students! I am going to strive to create a sense of community and connect our class virtually.
This will look very different than the end of last school year, in the best possible way! We are going to have daily live morning meetings, live lessons, small group meetings, asyncronous activities, and individual student check-ins using the Zoom platform.
Students will primarily check-in on Google Classroom for day-to-day activities and lessons. The day will be outlined for them including times for the live sessions and suggested lunch and specials time. Morning meeting will take place at the same time every day where we will play games, get to know eachother, and work on social emotional growth. Lessons and meeting links will be posted daily in Google Classroom (either on a google slides or google document) for students to easily track their daily progress.
