XtraMath is a website that helps students with knowledge of their math facts for daily practice. Students will frequently complete this in class, but it is a great resource for home practice as well!

1. Click on Mathematics.
2. Click on Go Math!
3. Enter the information for state (New Jersey), district (Lawrence), and school (Lawrence Intermediate School).
4. Enter your child's Student ID Number for user name and password (lunch number).
You can access the math textbook and homework book (Standards Practice). There are also animated math models available to help your child learn math skills and content. The animated math models show how to solve math problems step-by-step.
Khan Academy
Want extra practice? Want another way to try math? Doing your homework and confused about how to solve a problem? Try watching a tutorial video on Khan Academy. The videos are free, and a great way to get extra practice or a quick refresher at home. These videos are also a great way to review math concepts before a math test!

Study Island
Study Island is an online program that uses students' NWEA data to provide personalized instruction. Use NWEA Path to practice skills that you need more help with to grow your brain! An added bonus, most lessons in Study Island have additional lesson materials that will help you learn the skills you're practicing.

You can pick and choose fifth grade level skills (or other grade level skills) for extra practice. IXL is a great way to get extra practice before a test or if you feel like you need more work on a particular skill.
