Class Policies
Classroom Expectations
- All students should be prepared for class each day with their expected materials.
Homework
- Homework will be written on the whiteboard each day for the students to copy in their agendas. I will give the students time to copy down their homework, however It is their responsibility to copy it down and complete it daily!
- I will not assign homework on Friday unless it is something that should have been completed for classwork during the week.
- Homework should take students around 20 minutes each night!
- Homework is graded by completeness, not by correctness! All work must be shown to receive full credit.
Absentee Work
- When your child is absent from class, his/her work will be placed in a folder for him/her to pick up upon his/her return to class. They must remember to pick this work up themselves! Makeup work to be completed and handed in within two days. Any incomplete work will receive a 0 grade.
Communication
- Please do not hesitate to email or call me with any concerns! (Email is usually the best way to contact me!) Parent-teacher communication is very important to a child's success in school. I want to see all of my students become lifelong learners and successful problem solvers, but most importantly, good people!
