I began playing Saxophone when I was a 4th Grader at Lawrence Intermediate School. I have learned many instruments over the years. I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Music Education in 2002 at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. I also hold a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from The American College of Education which I recieved in 2022. Before teaching at LIS, I taught for 15 years at Lawrence Middle School. I continue to enjoy performing in various jazz bands and music ensembles when not teaching. I also am the conductor of our town's community band called The Lawrence Community Concert Band.
Likes/Interests: Music (performing, listening to, attending performances, etc.), Frisbee Disc Golf, Fishing, The Beach, Broadway
Sports teams: NY mainly (i.e. Yankees, Giants, Knicks) and the NJ Devils
Favorite Genre to read: Thriller/Mystery or Instructional/How-To Books
Pets: Penny (my cat)
Favorite Candy: Reese' s PB Cups, Haribo Gummy Cola Bottles , Haribo Berries, York Peppermint Patty/Junior Mints

General Information for our Concert Band Concerts:
All LIS Concert Band concerts will be presented in the cafeteria at LIS
Band Concert Attire for all grades: Black LIS Music shirt or plain black shirt, black pants or jeans, dark shoes. Black dress or skirt (with tights, to knee level). Professional looking!
